Setup

Silhouette targets. Every start from condition one, holstered and locked, hands clasped at the chest; someone else runs the timer. From under a coat once it is smooth. For the sextets and Presidentes, three targets three paces apart. 100 rounds, meant twice monthly, beside 15 minutes of dry handling a day.

    Singles: draw and fire 1 round. As it gets easy and groups average 8 inches, work toward 1 second.

    Singles: draw and fire 1 round. As it gets easy, add a yard at a time toward 10 meters.

    Singles: draw and fire 1 round. Work out 2 meters at a time toward 25 meters.

    Pairs: draw and fire 2 rounds. As it gets easy, add speed, not distance.

    Quads: draw and fire 2 rounds, reload, and fire 2 rounds, all in the ring. Start at 8 seconds and work down to 5.

    Sextets: from a 90-degree pivot, hit each of three targets twice. Work toward 4 seconds.

    Presidente: back to the center target, pivot 180 degrees, hit each target twice, reload, and hit each twice again. Work toward 10 seconds.
